Guidelines about Men’s Dressing for an MBA Level Interview

MBA Level Interview
There is quite a lot of difference between an MBA level interview and the job screening that is run-of-the-mill. The interviews of MBA level are the events that are very much in depth involving three different interviews or more in different cities separately and there are almost about half a dozen of your interviewers or peers. At this stage most of the companies are willing to pay you a decent amount but they usually make sure that you are capable of performing all the things that they desire and are appropriate to fit into their culture.
For an interview of this level one must have to be dressed up quite well. It is very strange that most of the times it is observed that people spend huge amounts on their education and they dress up so casually. But one must have to give proper attention on dressing as well.
For an MBA interview to be successful lots of preparation needs to be done. A lot of attention is given to the dress code in the interview by the company in which you are giving the interview. It is good for you to meet some of their employees prior to your interview. You should have a close look on them. You should look whether they appear to be relaxed or conservative in their dressing.
While picking up the suit for your interview you should keep three things in your mind i.e. Style, Fabric and Fit. While you are making a selection of the fabric for your suit for an interview of MBA level you should closely consider its color and construction. It is better to select some natural fabric just like cotton or wool.
As far as the style of the men’s suit is concerned you should definitely opt for the classical cut. In US it is a notched lapel, single breasted, two or three buttons jacket having double or single back vent on it and the pockets are in regular flap shape. It should be made sure that the number of cuff buttons should be same as that of the front jacket and a left-breast pocket should also be ensured as well. The lapels should also be considered and should be trendy. These days the trend is to have thin lapels. In the end you should have an inspection of your trousers and the jacket that whether they meet the quality standards or not (inspect their sewing, tug on the buttons).
